A Pop of Orange

The Pantone color of the year, Tangerine Tango seems to be pretty much right on for me. Lately, I can't help but to gravitate to orange.

This weekend I did a little shopping in the big city (aka Charlotte) and two of my favorite things happen to be orange (the other is a new pair of TB shoes I scored on sale).

In my entry, I added a bright orange laquer box to add a bit more color to the space.

It's from the container store and I had been thinking about buying it since last time I was in Charlotte.  The candle with the leather flower was a gift from a family friend and it smells so freaking good. Like, amazingly good.

I already have orange pillows on the porch, and when I went into Crate & Barrel this ceramic hurricane caught my eye immediately. I also got another citronella candle to put in the hurricane.

You might notice another purchase I made this weekend under the lantern. This is one of the very last pieces I was waiting on finding for the porch and I think later this week I'll be able to photograph it so I can show the whole thing all together. It's looking good....
